YES! Global Studio Install
Today I started setting up YES! Global‘s new studio. I spent most of today running networking cables, for the PTZ cameras and sound system. This will be a live audience studio, with music, so it will be like a small church service setting.
Later days were installing sound equipment, cameras, computers, and lighting. In this smaller space, we decided to try out Philips Hue smart lights (instead of DMX lights). One nice thing about the Hue lights is that the Lightkey software supports DMX and Hue. If they want to add theatrical lighting, there will be one, centralized, software to control it all.
Unfortunately, I didn’t think to take any pictures of me actually working. You only get a few finished product pictures.

Vow Renewal Sound System
My DJ Sound System was used for the reception of a wedding vow renewal ceremony. I didn’t work the event, but I did set up and tear down the system. Jackson Photography did pictures, but there weren’t any useful videos of people dancing and such.
