Gospel Revival Ministries’ Studio Install

Today we began the lighting and camera install for Gospel Revival Ministries‘ new studio. I did the gear recommendations and original studio and control room installation. There were separate construction and decorating crews and their editor finished the project.

Originally, I had recommended monolights, but the ceiling wasn’t tall enough to allow soft boxes and still have room for a live audience below. We ended up using wide, short, panel lights. They have soft inserts that work like soft boxes, but are much smaller. I had also recommended cinema cameras, but the owners preferred PTZ cameras.
