I did the video shoot for this year’s Fake Birthday Film Festival. It was originally supposed to be February 28th, but the host’s wife decided to have a baby and stuff.
It was supposed to be a live stream, as well, but it didn’t work out. When I did all the testing, for the original date, it was working. The day of the rescheduled event, nothing worked. The house Wi-Fi didn’t have internet. My cell phone tethering wasn’t good enough for a stable stream. A friend’s Verizon Mi-Fi device didn’t help, either. I tried streaming through my video rig router, my laptop, and directly from the switcher. Nothing was working. I spent the two hours, before the event started, trying to get it up. Eventually, I just had to give up and do the gig. I guess I’ll have to edit the whole show, so they’ll have something to upload.
