First Live Stream With New Video Rig

This was my first real opportunity to use my portable video rig. I did the live stream for YES! Church‘s monthly HouseAfire meeting.

I was playing drums, so I couldn’t really do anything video oriented. I did end up running sound for the sermon. I had to employ the services of friends and family-members to run things. Shawn Wade directed, my wife ran the main camera, one of my sons ran a secondary camera, and another son ran ProPresenter. It was a seven-camera shoot.

There were a lot of things that went hay-wire, but I think the end result was a success. ProPresenter crashed multiple times, the live stream cache filled up right when the sermon started (they do not have good internet), and the audio was too quiet.

    Vow Renewal Sound System

My DJ Sound System was used for the reception of a wedding vow renewal ceremony. I didn’t work the event, but I did set up and tear down the system. Jackson Photography did pictures, but there weren’t any useful videos of people dancing and such.
